Native Plant Nursery
Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah operates a large native plant nursery to support restoration projects in and around Buford Park. The nursery depends on volunteers to produce quality native plants and seed.
Adopt a Plot!
You can help by adopting a plot at the nursery. Keep it weed free while observing the natural life cycle of dozens of rare and wonderful native plants. Sow and harvest native seed produced by YOUR plot! And the ultimate gratification – see a piece of the park returned to its native glory by YOUR efforts! 2 to 3 hours per month is all that’s needed. Orientation and training provided.
