1. Improving and maintaining trails so you can escape to the outdoors for a hike anytime of the year.
2.Enhancing rare oak savanna and prairies at Mt. Pisgah --- less than two percent of these habitats remain in the Willamette Valley!
3. Supporting our efforts to acquire and steward the adjacent 1,200-acre Wildish lands.

What will my donation be used for?
Your contribution helps Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah protect and enhance native ecosystems and compatible recreation in the Mt. Pisgah area. When you make a gift to us you become a member. Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah is a non-profit public 501(c)(3) organization. Here are three easy ways to make a gift:
- Donate Online through "Network for Good"
- Mail your donation to us at PO Box 5266, Eugene OR 97405
- Become a "Mountain Sponsor" by becoming a monthly donor.
Here are examples of how your gift can make a difference. A gift of....
- $100 supplies surface materials for 10 feet of trail
- $300 supplies 100 volunteers with work gloves to help remove invasive weeds or plant natives
- $500 takes care of the growth and harvest of a 10' x 10' plot of native plants
- $1,000 provides irrigation for two acres of new riparian forest
- $2,500 produces native wildflower seed to restore one acre
(Gifts are flexible and support all our programs. Your donation also helps leverage grants and other contributions. All gifts are tax-deductible.)
Other Ways to Show Your Support
REXIUS CONTRIBUTION DESIGNATION CARD: When you receive a delivery from Rexius, you may fill out the “Contribution Designation Card” and Rexius will donate a percentage of the delivery fee to Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah.

Your donation is viewed as an "annual" membership valid for one-year from the date your gift is received. Donations less than $50 are graciously accepted. Please note that member benefits, like listing in our newsletter, are activated with gifts of $50 and more.

- It's simple, secure and one of the best ways that you can support us.
- You have control over your giving. You can increase your donation amount and make changes to your account at any time.
- Your membership automatically renews; you won’t receive any renewal notices by mail.
- Benefits include special designation in The Rookery, copy of our annual report and special communication from our leadership. In addition, you receive all the regular member benefits depending on the annual gift amount.
How the Mountain Sponsor Program Works
- Determine the amount of your monthly donation.
- Decide when you would like it deducted, either the 1st or the 15th.(Allow 5 days for processing.)
- To begin, fill out and sign the Monthly Donor Form and send it to us along with a voided check. Instructions are on the form.
- The indicated amount will be deducted from your checking account.
- You will see “Charitable Partnership Fund” listed on your bank statement. (Charitable Partnership Fund is an Oregon non-profit organization that manages the electronic funds transfer system for us and other non-profit organizations.)
- Each January, you will receive a thank you letter with the total amount donated the previous year, which can be used for tax purposes.
- Your membership automatically renews each year.
